Try GR Snap for a GR World shooting session
- Finish the current GR World session before connecting in GR Snap. Keep GR World installed if you use it to update GR IV firmware.
- Pair your GR III, IIIx or IV in GR Snap and approve the Wi-Fi connection. For GR II, join the camera’s Wi-Fi in iPhone Settings.
- On GR III, IIIx or IV, open the remote and check the live view before taking a still photo. Download the photo and check it in Library.

GR World releases the shutter over Bluetooth without live view or exposure adjustment. GR Snap adds live view, tap to focus and exposure controls on GR III, IIIx and IV.
Record a route for later geotagging
If you want to add missing photo locations after a walk, record a route in GR Snap while shooting. The saved route and camera clock help match downloaded photos to locations. Check the geotagging guide before your first outing.

Which cameras does GR Snap support?
GR III, GR IIIx (including HDF), and GR IV support transfer and remote shooting. GR II supports manual Wi-Fi transfer.
Do I still need GR World?
GR World can update GR IV firmware. For GR II, III and IIIx, follow Ricoh's camera firmware download and SD card instructions. GR Snap does not install firmware.
