What GR Snap does differently
A connection that holds
On GR III, GR IIIx, and GR IV, one tap wakes the camera over Bluetooth and joins its Wi-Fi. GR II uses a manual Wi-Fi connection for transfers only.
Full resolution, fast
JPG, DNG (RAW), and MOV transfer at original quality, not recompressed previews. Thumbnails cache as you browse, so big SD cards stay smooth.
Downloads that keep going
Queue up a batch, then switch apps or lock the phone. Progress shows on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, with a notification when each file lands.
A remote you can frame with
On GR III, GR IIIx, and GR IV, live view includes tap to focus plus camera parameters synced both ways. Remote shooting is unavailable on GR II.
